United Way Women's Leadership Council (WLC) held its first member meeting of 2008 at Seton Hill University. Pictured above are (l-r) members Tandy Bailey of UPS, Sherry Kolbosky of Allegheny Energy and Co-chair Mary Ann Gawelek of Seton Hill. The Meeting was held to discuss the growth of WLC and its future plans. Currently, there are 108 members.

 

Toni Brentzel is pictured with her husband Wayne in front of Irwin Bank, where she works. Toni was the 2007 Grand Prize winner of United Way's Campaign Incentive Drawing. She had the option to pick a car from one of our three sponsors, Smail Auto Group, Sendell Motors or Toyota-Scion of Greensburg. Monday, April 14-Friday, April 19

The National Week of the Young Child. UWWC and various community partners work together to create opportunities to honor children and provide learning activities throughout the week and month of April.

Wednesday, April 16

Leadership Celebration, the first of its kind for UWWC will take place at The Greensburg Country Club 5:30pm-8:00pm where we will honor our Leadership Givers for their commitment to our organization.

Thursday, May 22

WLC Members Meeting, the second meeting of this year will be held at Courtyard by Marriott, Greensburg. This breakfast event will focus on the fall "Women of Influence" breakfast slated for October 30.
