2008-12-01 - Seniors Supported by Four New Faith-in-Action Sites:

United Way is working hard to connect people and communities to ensure seniors and the frail and elderly can remain in their own home.  Volunteers provide services such as trips to the doctor, help in grocery shopping or caregiver relief. Nationally, a typical Faith in Action program can help 200 to 1,000 seniors in a community. This effort and others address the critical needs around Supporting the Vulnerable and Aging.
